connected…

decided it was time to get connected by getting a cellphone. i decided on a pda phone since i plan to use this new number primarily for work. i wanted an iphone for its calendar, maps, and internet abilities. i drove around the city for an at&t store and dropped by a mom and pop shop that sold boost and metro pcs. the metro plan looked very enticing because of the $5 unlimited international calling plan. i figured it would save me a lot of money calling justine.

after i did some research on metro and at&t, i went for the phone that would give me the best coverage. if i get booked for weddings, i can’t be stuck without a phone, and like i said before, this is going to be used mostly for work. hopefully. i want a lot of work. now.

i now have a beautiful white iphone 3gs that lets me create custom ringtones. it didn’t work at first, but i realized windows 7 was adding file extensions to file extensions instead of renaming them. long story, but i found out what was wrong when i checked the command line.

tomorrow, i’ll try to get the website up. i pick up my kitten on wednesday due to asiana airlines’ policy of not putting cats and dogs in the same cargo area — apparently, they had a passenger with a pet, and it has priority. i don’t know why they didn’t know about this before. did the passenger not mention it to the airline beforehand, or did the airline just make a mistake? anyways, it worked out. i get another day to clean house and make sure it’s kitty proofed.
